We are seeking to appoint Aviation Security Officer (Screeners) into Part-Time roles at Wellington International Airport from November 2016.

You will be required to work a variety of shifts, on weekends and public holidays and can expect to work a minimum of 5 hours per day on an early shift and 6 hours on a late shift, working a 4 days on, 2 days off roster.

Aviation Security Officers are responsible for:

Pre-departure searches of passengers and their check-in and carry-on baggage
Airport access controls
Screening of airport workers
Administrative and associated tasks
Shortlisted applicants must be available to attend an assessment day which will be held on 29th August 2016.

In order to be successful in securing a position, applicants will have to complete a pre-employment medical examination, security vetting checks and an initial training course.
