Kahungunu Whānau Services (KWS) is an organisation that has provided a comprehensive range of social services to whānau across Wellington for over four decades. KWS prides’ itself on being anchored in Te Ao Māori, and driven by the philosophy of Whānau Ora. Our services are executed through the kaupapa based framework of Te Whare Tapa Whā and we stand committed to working with and alongside whānau to support them to achieve their aspirations.
Kahungunu Whānau Services (KWS) has partnered with Tū Ora Compass Health. Together we want to provide high-quality strength-based primary care assessments and support to our most vulnerable who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We will do this through our expression of our values; Manaakitanga, Whakawhanaungatanga, Kotahitanga and Rangatiratanga.

o The passion to support whānau to achieve improved outcomes.
o Confidence to make good decisions in crisis situations.
o Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
o Good computer skills.
You will; Be able to prove your knowledge, understanding and experience of Tikanga Māori. You will have a qualification in Nursing, be registered or working towards it. Experience with RecordBase case management system would be an advantage. Your attitude and grit will be considered.
