Available for full time work until the end of February?
We have an exciting opportunity for five Student Admission Advisers (internally known as Admissions Adviser) to join our vibrant Admissions team within Student Services on a 6-8 month fixed term contract. You will predominantly support admissions processes for our Medical and Health Sciences programmes, including the Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI), which occur over an intensive two-week period in November.
Paid overtime: You must be available to work overtime during the MMI period, including the weekend.
These pivotal roles provide support and advice to prospective students, agents and other stakeholders about the University’s courses and entry requirements. These roles will also process applications and associated documentation for university admission according to set entry criterion and within agreed timeframes.
The salary for this role is $54,700. The role is Full Time 37.5 hours per week.

Our ideal Student Admission Advisers will have:
Experience in a high-volume administrative work environment.
Previous work history that includes experience in a tertiary environment, government organisations or immigration would be favoured.
High attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and stakeholder service skills ensuring that these are the driving force behind your decisions and activities.
Interpersonal effectiveness demonstrated by clear and constructive communication skills and behaviours that influence others and inspire co-operation and achievement.
You will be flexible and able to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment.
A confident decision maker with a keen eye for detail.
A positive team player.
Training and support will be provided to the right candidates.
