About our group and team
Our teams around the country work closely with the Early Childhood and Schooling sectors, providers, and communities to provide support, expertise and resources to help children and young people reach their full potential.
We also directly provide Learning Support for around 40,000 children and young people.
The Senior Support Officer role is part of our Business Support team and will be based at our Maungawhau (Mt Eden) Office in Auckland. The Business Support team works closely together each and every day to deliver a range of services for the Ministry and our employees.

About the role
The Senior Support Officer – Recruitment position plays an integral part in the coordination of recruitment in Auckland and we are looking for someone to support our Managers as well as advising them to ensure the successful delivery of the process.
Reporting to the Support Manager no two days will be the same! You will be working closely with the Managers in the Auckland region to ensure their recruitment is organised and planned so that recruitment is completed within proposed timeframes. You will also be the central point of contact for communications to key stakeholders and the maintenance of our recruitment process and associated documents – the ability to build strong relationships at all levels is critical for this position.
