Sector Projects Manager – WasteMINZ – Wellington

About you:
Are you a born organiser who thrives while managing multiple projects and delivering on deadlines?
Can you build strong and productive relationships with diverse stakeholders?
Do you have an eye for detail, and can spot a great opportunity?

You will be passionate about the environment, down-to-earth, collaborative, and motivated by making a difference.
Critically you will be assertive and enjoy building positive relationships with members, be super-organised, and be comfortable chasing people up to ensure deadlines are met, and projects are delivered on time.
Ideally, you will have an appreciation of the diverse range of people that make up the waste and resource recovery sector, and you will have an ability to collaborate with people at all levels to deliver high-quality work that we can all be proud of.

You will have:
5+ years of project management experience
Experience managing volunteers
An eye for detail, and exceptional organisational skills
Excellent relationship-building and people-wrangling skills

We support flexible working:
The role is based on Auckland’s North Shore, where our office is, or if you are based out of Auckland, you can work from home, and the role is 40 hours per week.
WasteMINZ fully supports workplace flexibility, and we will do whatever we can to meet our employees’ needs, including the ability to regularly work from home.
The role will also require occasional travel to other regions to attend our conferences and events.
