We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our committed and dynamic team here in Wellington. The role is based at our office although the team is both in office and remote throughout New Zealand and Australia.

About the role
The primary focus of this role is to lead and manage the Certification team and ensure smooth running of the certification process for our licensees. We are looking for a good communicator with high professional integrity who can facilitate and implement change and growth.
Staff performance management, service delivery, compliance, and oversight of the certification services we provide, will be your responsibilities. Time management and organisational skills are essential. You will be able to juggle multiple projects and respond to challenges in a positive way.

Skills and experience
You are an experienced team leader who can easily engage with the Certification, Audit, and Technical teams, and help us grow and invest in our organisation and the services we provide. You have:
At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role;
Effective communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate the team;
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once;
Excellent people management skills;
Experience in workflow management;
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and programmes, and client databases;
Broad knowledge of, and passion for, organics.
