The Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team (SCIRT) is rebuilding Christchurch’s earthquake damaged roads, fresh water supply, wastewater and storm water networks. We are rebuilding our City and this is a fantastic opportunity for you to contribute.
In the short time SCIRT has been in existence, it has been intentionally building a culture of Peak Performing Teams. We have just done our latest engagement survey and we are well on the way to continually improving our awesome environment based on the feedback we are getting from our team. You will be a HR Coordinator who works alongside Managers and Team members to ensure that they receive the support, knowledge and advice that they require. You will be a good relationship builder who makes things happen as well as contributing to exciting HR projects that are linked to our strategic Peak Performance Plan. You will bring high motivation, strong capability to work as part of a team, be highly organised and measure your success on results and completion.
This is a fixed term full time 7 month role to move maternity leave.
To do this role you will:
Have an understanding of all aspects of Human Resources practice – a HR qualification at diploma level is desirable.
Ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Be an exceptional relationship builder and influencer.
Have highly developed organisational and customer service skills.
Have solid oral and written communication skills.
