We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with an attention to detail, excellent computer and communication skills, and an understanding of school communities, the government and the not-for-profit sector.
Skylight is a national not-for-profit trust that supports children, young people, and whānau to navigate through tough times by building resilient individuals and communities. Skylight’s services and programmes are built with trauma informed practice and a focus on building resilience.   Skylight delivers services directly to children, young people and whānau. Skylight also builds the capability of communities in the wider sector through training and professional development. (
The Trust is looking for a skilled fulltime Contracts Administrator with great computer skills, preferably experienced in Filemaker software application, databases, data entry and excel. Your excellent computer skills will give you the ability to deliver high quality administration support and data collation for the reports needed by Skylight’s funders.
You will need to have well-developed communication skills as the Contracts Administrator will work closely with the Programme Coordinators, as well as other Skylight team members, e.g. finance, to ensure a holistic approach to delivering Skylight’s services. As the key support role to two major contracts you will need to have an understanding of how schools operate, have an attention to detail and be a self-starter.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:
Successful general administration experience with a demonstrated ability to efficiently deliver accurate work on time within tight deadlines
Highly competent computer skills with a good knowledge of appropriate desktop computer applications, including successful experience in setting up and maintaining spreadsheets, software applications, databases, and data entry
Experience in managing small projects and dealing with changing deadlines and priorities
Calm professional demeanour, coupled with self-motivation, reliability, and flexibility
Cultural sensitivity towards Maori, Pacific Peoples, and other cultures with a commitment to positive outcomes for clients
