Administration Support Officer – Health – ARWCF – Department of Corrections – Auckland

Health Services at Auckland Region Women’s Corrections Facility are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, committed individual who is capable of working in a wide range of office administration activities for a 12 month fixed term (until October 2023)
The prime responsibilities of this role are, to ensure accurate medical information is recorded and maintained, while supporting the team with day-to-day administration duties, including reception, internal and external schedules and appointments, travel bookings and database management.

Skills & Experience | Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako
Our ideal candidate will have:
A sound working knowledge of computerised systems and keyboard skills
Experience using Medtec and Microsoft Officer products such as Word and Excel
Knowledge or understanding of working with SAP
An ability to develop and improve efficiencies
High level customer service skills
Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written
Experience as a Healthcare Assistant would be greatly beneficial
Familiarity with health systems and medical terminology would be advantageous
If you are a team player with the ability to identify and resolve problems whilst maintaining patient confidentiality, this will be the key to outstanding delivery.
A Full New Zealand Driver Licence is required for this role.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The salary steps for this position are $45,518, $48,380, $54,120. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
