Administration Officer – Western Sydney Local Health District – Sydney

What you’ll be doing
Providing efficient administrative support, reception and excellent frontline customer service for the Birth Unit with service provision to other areas and services within the Division of Women’s Children’s BMDH as required.
Efficiently attend administrative service that facilitate the ultimate achievement of the Birth Unit business objectives and support to all Division 4 Departments, as required.
Maintaining customer service focus during peak customer demand and prioritising and managing competing demands.

Selection Criteria:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and to make decisions on day to day operational matters within the positions area of responsibility.
Possess organisational skills required to set priorities, meet strict deadlines, monitor workflow in the area of responsibility and effectively deal with several projects concurrently.
Well- developed skills in the use of Cerner applications and software packages e.g., Data entry, MS office or similar packages.
Ability to provide a comprehensive range of reception duties and support to several departments
Ability and willingness to multitask , be adaptable and work in a self-directed Manner.
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing a high quality standard of service.
