The Clean Technologies team at Scion seeks to optimise resource use by transforming biomass into value added products.

The role
This full-time role will undertake a broad range of R & D related to waste treatment and bioenergy production.

Reporting to a Research Leader and Project Leader(s) within the Clean Technologies team, you will:

operate pilot scale equipment
collect data in research areas such as waste treatment and bioenergy production
work with multidisciplinary research groups
Skills and experience

You will have:
A minimum of a BSc (or equivalent in process engineering or technology)
Experience with a hands-on approach in laboratory and pilot scale work
Detailed knowledge and experience in an industrial process setting is preferred
Demonstrable research, engineering and problem solving skills
An ability to communicate easily and effectively
