Senior Project Engineer – Rob Law maxrecruitment

In addition to doing the bread and butter Watercare and other North Island Local Authority work, this company has a range of really sexy pipe rehab technology – proprietary products and methods which open up options for trenchless pipeline rehab in really revolutionary ways.

Role will involve running 4 – 5 pipeline projects at a time including new-builds and rehabilitation and this is where the technology really shines. This company has some of the coolest technologies for trenchlessly repairing pipelines I’ve ever seen.

This role will suit a Civil Engineer with 5 – 7 years’ experience, someone who has at least some pipeline experience under their belt; someone who can run projects from about $1/2mil – $6mil under the supervision of a PM; knows how read plans and check designs; can set up projects and support the Site Foremen/Supervisors; can problem solve; someone who can drive quality and handle all reporting tasks internally and externally, can keep a tight control of cost and can bring projects to completion on time and within budget.

Projects will be distributed at least 60% in Auckland but other work will also exist all around the North Island and so you’ll need to be happy to do a bit of travel to the various sites you’ll be controlling, supporting the site staff and if required resolving technical issues normally no more than 5 nights per month.

With the company having international connections, occasional international travel will be available for training and corporate events.

Please note: This position will only suit someone who is already in NZ with a Valid Work Visa.
