Advisor, Planning / Tactics – Inland Revenue – Canterbury

Workforce Planning have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Advisor to join our team focusing on Planning and Tactics in either Wellington or Christchurch.

As a team we provide support to the front line business by providing tactical planning, data and intelligence to Service Delivery to assist in keeping the business green to ensure that great outcomes are achieved for our customers.  We require an Advisor who has the ability to see the big picture and think outside the square.  You will need to be agile, open to change and be comfortable being in a continuously evolving environment.

We require an Advisor who is motivated and enthusiastic and keen to join us at this exciting and busy time.  We need a self-starter who will pick up the role quickly and become part of our successful team.

The main purpose of this role is to provide planning and forecasting across multiple areas of Service Delivery.

Key skills to being successful in this role are:

Relationship Management and Communications

Excellent people skills and the ability to work collaboratively to achieve common goals
Expertly able to establish relationships with stakeholders
Great written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable to attend high level management meetings

Technical skills

Workload and/or workforce forecasting/planning skills
Experienced user of Excel and Microsoft Office
Operations Management knowledge and experience (preferred)
Knowledge of IR and Service Delivery (preferred)

Initiative

Willing to give things that are untested a go
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to solve problems in a structured way
Confidence to self-manage and set targets to meet deadlines
