The Projects

Over the last decade HEB has progressively developed an enviable major projects track record.  Whether on our own or with our construction partners, we are currently delivering the $320m Tauranga Eastern Link, $140m Cambridge Section of the Waikato Expressway, $800m Transmission Gully and $350m Huntly Section of the Waikato Expressway.  We are also currently tendering for other major projects nationally.

The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager National Projects is required to lead a team that identifies opportunities, establishes winning partnerships, tenders and then delivers medium to large value infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will have the experience to lead and communicate within the civil engineering sector.  They will have strong operational, risk management and commercial skills and will preferably have existing relationships with clients, designers and other contractors.

They will need to have a clear understanding of project cost management, together with business unit financial management.

The ability to develop collaborative and productive relationships, both internally and externally, is essential.

This is a key appointment within a dynamic growing company.  The successful applicant will be an important member of the HEB Senior Management team, contributing to the planning and execution of tactical and strategic business objectives.
