The Auckland University of Technology is seeking to appoint a suitable person to a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position in the School of Law. This appointment is on a permanent basis from 1 July 2016 or as soon as possible thereafter. The School welcomes applications from research active scholars in any area of expertise, but is particularly interested in appointing a public law specialist to teach constitutional law, and those with interests in areas of contract and/or commercial law. It is expected that the appointee will play an active role in either the AUT Research Centre for Private Law or the AUT Research Centre for Non-adversarial Justice.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate teaching skills of a high order and be able to show a commitment to law teaching and research. Experience teaching on an LLB programme is preferred.
