Digital Strategist – The Creative Store

Our client
a fast growing and highly regarded boutique content agency located in the Auckland CBD, are on the hunt for an experienced and creative Digital Strategist with strong capability in social strategy.

In this role
you will be responsible for developing and planning Digital and Social strategies for their clients, that will improve overall marketing efforts and drive online business growth. As the ideal candidate, you will have a firm grasp of the various digital and social touch points, and be able to guide the wider team in implementing these strategies, alongside monthly campaigns.

You will
have 5+ years, ideally in an agency environment, with proven experience in leading, designing and delivering digital media strategies alongside wider team, to achieve a brands business objectives. Excellent knowledge of Shopify, eDm programmes, Google+, and social platforms/tools is essential, along with a firm grasp on SEO and web traffic metrics.
With a good understanding of social and web analytics, you will be able to complete digital and social media audits to inform wider strategic thinking, define and analyse digital media KPIs and objectives, and monitor benchmarks to measure the impact of digital programmes e.g. strategies, tactical plans and campaigns, and ongoing optimisation with wider campaign and content team. Experience with audience and buyer persona research is a bonus.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary team with content creators and designers to deliver, you will be a great team player with excellent project management and communication skills. You will ideally prior team management experience, or ready and excited to step up into a role with leadership responsibility.
