Operational Services Administrator – QEII National Trust

Job Description

We are Aotearoa’s leading private land conservation organisation. Our vision is ‘Inspiring conservation on private land’ and we partner with landowners across the country to protect natural and cultural heritage sites on their land forever.
QEII is growing and we’re looking for an administrator to provide operational support services within our Land Protection Team. This role is based in Wellington and reports to our Operational Services Team Leader.

Our Land Protection Team deploys our regional representatives who are located across Aotearoa, supporting them to achieve QEII’s strategic objectives. The core functions of the Team involve new protection, management of existing protected areas, and assisting our regional representatives’ engagement with local stakeholders and communities.
The Operational Services Administrator undertakes the day-to-day administration of our regional representatives including processing invoices and timesheets, undertaking performance tracking, forecasting, and reporting against contracted activities.

We’re looking for someone with a real interest in protecting Aotearoa’s natural and cultural heritage, and a passion for customer service and process improvement.

• Expertise using Microsoft Excel
• Any qualifications and/or experience in a similar role/environment
• The ability to work by yourself but be equally comfortable working closely in a team
