Our Whangarei Hospital based Supply Chain team is looking for a team member with a friendly and outgoing nature to be part of the inwards goods team.

The role:
As an Imprest Supply Clerk you will effectively manage the day to day provision of Imprest supplies to the wards, departments and clinics at Whangarei Hospital (WH). This includes the regular need to monitor ward/clinic supplies and re-stocking/delivering items as required (all wards on a daily basis and clinics/departments as required). Primary functions of the position include the provision of a high quality, efficient and effective Central Stores service to internal and external customers, as an integral part of the Logistics department.

At least 12 months general stock control experience; Warehousing / Imprest / stock control
At least 12 months general data/order entry experience (preferably Oracle System)
an ability and willingness to learn protocols and best practice procedures appropriate to the handling and/or supply of sterile stock
an ability and willingness to learn products and supplies pertinent to the health environment
Excellent customer service skills
