Enspiral Dev Academy is recruiting for a marketing manager
We’re looking for a digitally savvy, multi-disciplinary content creator with a strategic mind, starting as soon as possible.
You’ll be a marketer with a a solid number of years’ experience. Someone who is a multi-tasker and enjoys managing a number of channels at once. You’ll thrive working autonomously, that is defining many of your day to day priorities (something to be considered carefully), and you’ll work well with others across many key areas of a business.
We don’t have managers at Dev Academy, but work with exceptional care for each other, collaborating across our staff of twenty three in two locations. We’re a tech-savvy team, and work with Google Suite, Trello and WordPress to run day-to-day business; you’ll have to be one too. Remote meetings are part of our day-to-day, as is Slack.
EDA is made up of a bunch of caring and dedicated humans, working to increase diversity in the tech industry and create positive, sustainable culture change in Aotearoa. As an example of the change we want to see, we are asking ourselves now how we can honour Te Tiriti O Waitangi ,having started as a Pākeha organisation, to help us build a better future in Aotearoa. EDAers love learning and developing ourselves, and if you want to grow, chances are you will find a place here.
If that excites you, or something like it, EDA could be a place for you.
This role is scoped at about 32 hours per week and could be based in Wellington or Auckland, with flexible hours. At times, working remotely is possible too. Start date as soon as possible. Salary range between 60,000-80,000 pro rata depending on experience.
You’ll make sure that we get bang for our buck across the handful of marketing channel we use —our budgets are small but increasing.
You’ll have a strategic mind and enjoy solving problems.
You’ll be able to create visually compelling moving or static images.
You’ll have experience writing press releases and can pitch content to editors and producers.
Experience in Google Analytics and other social-media analysis tools are essential.
You’ll know how and where to find or generate customer and audience insights driven by data and anecdotes. Crucially, you’ll know how to interpret data, and turn it into effective messaging, primarily for social media advertising.
You’ll need to be able to work out how and where to place pieces for maximum effect, on a limited budget.
How to Apply

Please include links to an example of a campaign or comms strategy you have led and implemented.
Please note that the list on this job description is long, and you may not have all the experience. Please do apply even if you don’t have all of the below experience. People from a minority background or with non-traditional experience, for example volunteering, are encouraged to apply.
