Financial Assistant – part time, permanent
We are seeking to appoint a Financial Assistant to join the Stonefields School admin team in the new year. This is a part-time, permanent position, hours are negotiable (approx 12 – 18 hours per week) with flexibility to work from home.
Stonefields School is an innovative full Primary school (Year 0-8) with a supportive school community. We opened our doors to 50 learners in 2011 and are expected to reach 1000 learners in the coming years. We are renowned for our future-focused approach to teaching and learning. Our school offers a welcoming, inclusive and fun environment, underpinned by collaboration and best serving our young people and their whānau.
Reporting to the Administration & Communications Lead, the successful applicant will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable and payable system (including checking, processing, filing and follow-up) and other miscellaneous tasks to support the efficient running of the school finances.

As well as prior experience in an accounts role, the successful applicant will be:
a great communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
a natural team player who will fit right into a tight operational team
able to prove their excellent technical skills
computer literate with Google applications, Xero and Excel
Proactive problem solver
detail-conscious and process orientated
able to work well under pressure
From time to time you will also be required to help support the reception desk.
