We’re looking for a manager to join our growing team in a newly created full time role of Club Manager. The person in this role will continue to grow our membership clubs of construction industry professionals throughout New Zealand and their international connections.
We’re looking for a strong, capable communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills who can nurture our existing clubs and grow new ones. This involves some marketing and promotional activity. The position involves travel to events throughout New Zealand. You will need a ‘can do’ attitude, the confidence to liaise with people at all levels as you will act as a point of contact to our club members. You will also have the skills to attract new people into our member network. You will have good computer skills.
Do you have the ability to manage a programme and outcomes within an existing strategy for a portfolio of our business clubs and work within a team to deliver services for you and those clubs? You will be supported by a management team and board which sets the direction of the company. It is essential that you have the ability to work within pre-set budgets.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a team player, working alongside club members and your team to deliver events and services on time and on budget, and ensure that we meet our members’ expectations. You and your team will be expected to provide outstanding event management.
This is a full time, permanent role with one direct report and involves travel within New Zealand.
