Publicly listed on both the New Zealand and Australian stock markets, this company continues to produce record financial performances and is now seeking to improve upon this critical part of their supply chain process.
This newly created position has two distinct phases: firstly to contribute to the setup of a new warehouse facility in Christchurch; then secondly the ongoing management of the site to deliver efficient and cost-effective utilisation of facilities for storing and distributing products. You will ensure excellent service delivery standards are achieved, manage and mitigate any risks, ensure staff are engaged and productive, whilst also collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also have joint responsibility for the overall site security and maintenance.
You may be looking for your next challenge or a step up. Instead, you may already come with extensive demonstrable experience at managing site operations. Your background will be a broad exposure across distribution and warehouses in a complex and busy environment. In order to be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience of new site set up, day to day people supervision, and health & safety management. In addition, you will also demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as manage a facility.
