Health & Safety Coordinator – K G Richardson And Sons Ltd

KG Richardson is a proudly locally owned and family operated business, employing over 250 staff throughout the South Island. KGR has established itself as a market leader within the Timber, Transport, Drilling and Pumping Industries. We are looking for a positive person with a ‘can do’ approach interested in beginning their career in health and safety.

We offer an excellent opportunity to develop and gain experience in health and safety over a number of different industries including manufacturing, drilling and transport. You will report to the Group H&S Manager and be responsible for providing support to the H&S team and business managers within the Group. This is a collaborative role which will involve coordinating the different businesses H&S compliance tasks and training, assisting with the implementation of various H&S systems including safety audits and providing timely and efficient administrative support for the H&S team.

What you will bring:
A basic knowledge of all aspects of the Health and Safety function
Ability and enthusiasm to develop and take on more responsibility
An excellent attention to detail & proven administration skills
Good understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel
H&S qualification is an advantage but not essential
