We are a rapidly growing team and are currently searching for dedicated professional to join us in the position of Food Safety and Compliance Officer. Based in our Wellington production facility, you will work closely with the team in your efforts to ensure operational and food safety and quality assurance.

Our new team member will ideally possess current experience in a similar role and a relevant tertiary education would be beneficial. You will be consultative, professional in your approach and not afraid of extremely high expectations.
Diligence, an eye for detail and impeccable communication skills are a must.

The plant operates around a series of shifts and this role will be based on the Day shift with the requirement to be flexible in assuring compliance across the board including night and weekend shifts.
The Food Safety and Compliance Officer role involves monitoring all quality, food safety and operational activities associated with producing over 50,000 units per week under a strict Food Safety Program. The position involves working within a small team in close liaison with the team supervisors, Plant Manager, Floor Manager, Product Development Manager and the Retail Support team.
The role will involve maintaining the Food Safety Manual up to date and effectively implementing all policy changes in the manufacturing process, HACCP system monitoring, food safety compliance, food handlers training, auditing of day to day operational activities, process monitoring, and daily reporting.
We are seeking a reliable and self – motivated person who wishes to establish a career within a food manufacturing environment. Good communication skills, both oral and written are essential, being able to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised, common sense and an eye for detail a must.
