The Service Integration and Development Unit (SIDU) is looking for an exceptional person to lead our Annual Planning and Accountability work for the lower North Island’s 3 District Health Boards.
The role sits within the Strategy, Planning and Intelligence Group and is responsible for the development of an Annual Plan for each of the DHBs – working with key SIDU Managers, Service Units and Alliance Leadership Teams to coordinate a complex mix of planning activity into the key accountablity documents for the region.
The SIDU is focussed on improving health outcomes for our local populations through the development of a sustainable health system operating across the 3 districts. This role is pivotal in creating a framework that supports the Executives and Boards of each organisation to deliver against a complex mix of local and national health targets.
You will have a good understanding of the health system, outstanding relationship skills, demonstrated project management capability, and excellent written and analytical capacity demonstrated in policy or planning settings. Experience in the District Health Board planning process would be a distinct advantage. You will need to be both influential and adaptable to ensure the process delivers meaningful and effective organisational plans.
