Community Service Manager – Christchurch – Healthcare Rehabilitation Ltd

Healthcare Rehabilitation specialise in supporting people to rehabilitate after an injury in their home and community. We provide support to people who require short term injury related support and also those with long term, complex support including serious spinal injury and traumatic brain injury.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic person with sound community service coordination skills to manage support teams in a flexible and well supported environment.

You will work from your home office with all the tools and transport needed to do so. As the service manager you will be leading people in the delivery of high quality support services, and also be fully engaged with the small group of clients they support in the Christchurch area.

This is a role that offers flexibility for a motivated self-starter, where your excellent communication, people leadership and organisational skills will be used to help make a positive difference in the lives of the people we support.

The following competencies and experience are essential for the role:
Exceptional communication, organisational and time management skills
Competent computer skills – a wide range of applications are used in this role
Experienced working in a community based rehabilitation environment
A background in disability services
Commitment to client choice and goal focussed support planning
Attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability in the face of changing circumstances
Current, full New Zealand drivers license
