This role involves a mixture of collections and people management. You will be developing, recommending, implementing, and controlling initiatives, as well as business policy and procedures on collection activities to ensure the business meets expected profit levels. You will have a team of 3-4 reporting into you and will look after everything from recruitment and selection through to regular catch ups. From a collections management perspective you’ll be setting and meeting the annual OPEX budget, analysing and reporting on performance of customer delinquency and bad debts, and reviewing and developing policies and procedures for the collection of moneys due.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has worked to a Team Leader level in a collections position. You will have proven experience and be comfortable providing examples of where you have led a team and reviewed and implemented new procedures. You won’t be someone who is happy to just work with the status quo, you’ll look at data and critically analyse it but still be able to think big picture and interact easily with the wider business.
