The Clinical Risk Management Branch of Medsafe is looking for a motivated individual who is ready to make a difference for all patients in New Zealand by enhancing the safety of medicines.
The Clinical Risk Management Branch is responsible for assessing and managing the risk of harm associated with medicines use, both pre- and post-market. In this role you will contribute to pharmacovigilance activities by identifying safety concerns and providing clinical advice on the risks and benefits of medicines.
The successful applicant is likely to have expertise in:
Providing credible and evidence based clinical advice
Assessing and critically appraising clinical data
Communicating information to a variety of audiences such as patients and healthcare professionals
You will have will outstanding written and oral communication skills and can work effectively in a team. In addition you will have sound analytical, organisational and relationship building skills.
To be considered for this position you will need a medical qualification. You will also need to be registered with the New Zealand Medical Council or be eligible for registration.
