The Business

This venue offers its discerning diners a selection of high quality cuisine, together with an extensive international wine list and exemplary service standards. The environment is upmarket and appealing, an excellent place for business entertaining and private dining alike. The committed and passionate owners are now wishing to hand the reins over to a new Restaurant Manager, who will take care of the daily running of this venue.

The role

Leading a FOH team, recruitment, training and performance management
Maintaining and improving overall standards
Managing the wine list, dealing with suppliers
Managing stock and cost controls, ensuring financial effectiveness
Liaising with kitchen, ensuring smooth service delivery
Participating in marketing activity for the venue
Maintaining the ongoing positive reputation of the business

Your experience:

Previous Restaurant Management experience
Exposure to high end dining, with exemplary service standards
Well-developed leadership skills, nurturing your team to succeed
Cost control and stock management capabilities
In-depth wine knowledge and cellar management skills
Social media management skills, marketing capabilities
A fun, outgoing, motivated and polished disposition
A current GM license
