We are looking for a teacher for our Alten Road centre in the city. This centre is a warm and friendly early childhood environment in an old villa adjacent to the city campus and caters for children from 3 months to three years old. We need a dedicated teacher who enjoys working with this age group. The centre is committed to providing excellent service to the children of students and staff members and to creating a family-oriented high achievement learning environment for our tamariki.

Reporting to the Early Childhood Centre Leader/Kaiwhakahaere, and the Manager of the Early Childhood Centres, this position is a good opportunity to advance your career and be involved in a top early childhood environment.

An experienced, passionate Kaiako, you will be tertiary qualified with a Dip/Bachelor of Education (ECE). Preference will be given to candidates who have proven capability in pedagogy and documentation and are fully registered.

Candidates will display strength in creative arts, technology, and the project approach, and will be professional, respectful and caring in their roles. Our programmes are considered innovative and as such, you will have the opportunity to engage and be part of some exciting research projects.
