As a result of continuing growth in the business, we are now looking for an experienced Learning and Organisational Development specialist to join our successful OD/HR Auckland based team. You will be joining a passionate, energised and high performing team who pride themselves on the positive cultural and commercial impact they have on client organisations and the people within them. Our OD/HR team’s philosophy is about being awesome, making a difference for the client, having fun whilst doing it and creating value for Grafton in the process.

You will have strong knowledge and understanding in both learning and organisational development, with a background in leading design, development and delivery of large scale solutions within a commercial environment. Your particular strengths or specialities are in the leadership or sales capability space. You will be a natural connector, with strong stakeholder management skills and proven track record at executing programmes and initiatives delivering exceptional, sustainable behaviour change and results for the organisation.

What you will do:

Develop meaningful customer relationships and generate positive introductions towards new opportunities. Design, develop and deliver innovative end-to-end learning and development solutions; including the delivery of persuasive learning, personalised development programs, skills assessment programs. Coach and develop organisations and their people to lift, lead, motivate and engage to drive optimal growth and performance.

What you will bring:

Understand trends, behaviours and world class practices relating to learning, and organisational development
Be networked across key organisations in NZ and in particular Auckland and key influencers
Ability to work effectively across multiple levels and industry groups; and quickly build credibility with senior stakeholders
Experience in personalised executive coaching of SLT and other senior leaders
Leadership development experience and/or sales best practice experience
Advanced facilitation skills, and strong knowledge and application of learning design
Able to quickly and effectively assess client needs and articulate their options
Ability to prioritise multiple projects & manage time effectively
