Senior Salon Barber/Stylist
A maintain a high standard of ethics and honesty.
To be punctual each working day to follow the weekly work hours roster.
To be organised and have your salon and work station ready for cutting clients hair prior to your start time each day.
To be friendly and polite to the clients.
To keep a high standard of quality hair dressing and barbering.
To be of a clean and tidy appearance, to use uniforms supplied.
To have a high standard of personal hygiene.
To ensure work areas are maintained in a tidy and hygienic state
Maintaining a professional and clean appearance of the work area.
Other duties requested by your manager, that are within the role
To put out the footpath signage before opening time and bring it back into the shop before closing time at your place of work when requested by employer’s manager.
To perform any other duties requested relevant to the employee’s role and the barbering business that need to be carried out.
Cash Handling and Stock taking.
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Cut /colour and perm Men’s and Women’s hair to a high standard.
Keep abreast creating of current styles for clients
Attend training and development workshops as required
Includes some management duties.
