National Manager – Champions – Churches Education Commission – Auckland

We are a not-for-profit organisation offering Christian Religious Education (CRE) programmes in primary and intermediate schools throughout New Zealand, and require a National Manager to oversee our large-group style ‘Champions’ programmes.

As the National Manager for Champions, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy for growing the Champions and ChampsMax brands nationally. This will include recruiting and training Regional Champions Managers, as well as developing the programme and materials used by Presenters. The successful applicant will also be required to build good working relationships with churches and schools throughout the country as necessary.

The successful applicant will enjoy relating to a wide range of people and stakeholders, and have strong leadership skills and charisma. They must also have clear and professional communication skills, experience and confidence leading a team, and share in the vision, mission and values of our organisation.

The role has an office-based component as well as a requirement to travel throughout the country from time to time. A leadership, management or educational background would be an advantage.
