The Lincoln University Students’ Association (LUSA) has established a strong and distinct brand in recent years and we are now looking for a media savvy super star to lift us to the next level.
The Media Manager will, in conjunction with the LUSA staff and Board, establish and implement our marketing and communications plans and continue our brand development; coordinate multiple publishing projects within tight deadlines; further lift our social media presence; produce collateral for various promotions and campaigns; and deliver a range of student media products. This includes editing the Caclin magazine which is produced six times a year.
The ideal applicant will have a qualification in marketing and / or communications and have a strong track record, or demonstrable appetite, in several of the following areas / skills:
Digital and Social Media platform management
Strong writing and editorial skills
Producing accurate and high-quality design work
A sense of humour, personality and an appreciation of student culture are a must. As is dedication and professionalism.
This role has a large degree of autonomy, with a wide range of responsibility, although the Media Manager is also part of a collaborative team and needs to contribute to the work of others. This includes helping out at LUSA events.
A salary and benefits package is negotiable depending on the experience and expertise of the successful candidate.
