The Assistant Advisor Human Resources position sits within our recently created HR Support Services team, providing primary contact for all HR queries via phone and email interaction. You’ll be responsible for delivering timely, high quality, accurate and consistent HR advice, documentation, information and HR administration to managers and staff across MBIE. You will have a strong customer focus and a passion for process improvement and attention to detail.
This role reports to the Team Leader HR Support Services and forms part of a diverse team of dedicated HR professionals. The work is interesting, busy and varied with no two days the same.
To be successful in this role you must:
Have sound working knowledge of HR practices and employment legislation
Demonstrate the ability to manage a large workload, multi-tasking and prioritising to meet competing demands
Have experience working in a contact or service centre environment
Possess proven experience working in a customer facing role and have the ability to quickly establish, build and maintain strong working relationships
Possess strong attention to detail and a desire to produce high quality work
Be highly motivated with the ability to self-manage
