We are looking for an experienced Sales and Marketing Manager that is passionate about digital. You’ll be equally comfortable out and about bringing on new clients as you are with building our sales and marketing capability internally. We know who we want and we hope this is you if…
You’re someone that is equal parts hunter and entrepreneur. Your excited about building something whether that be a business, a brand or a boat (preferably the first two) but don’t want to risk that comes from doing that on your own. You’re looking for a role with real autonomy where you have scope to influence the future direction of a growing company.
You want to work with some of NZ’s leading businesses and talk marketing and technology in equal measure. You get excited about how marketing and technology can change the course of a business and know how to talk the talk to get others excited about this too. You are not however keen on the huff and puff that comes with some of the more ‘sexy’ brands and therefore want to build long term, measurable relationships with customers who ‘get it’.
You want all this AND you want to work with (cue most over-used word on the planet but how else do you describe it) passionate people that are less ‘ agency buzz words’ and more business strategy. So you’re not asking for much then!

Marketing strategy and execution (with a key focus on using online marketing strategies to increase enquries from a defined target market)
Sales qualification processes
New business generation, development and conversion
Proposal and presentation development
Estimating enterprise level solutions with the support of the delivery team
Partner relationship management
Client relationship management (including measuring satisfaction, growth from current clients, implementing account management practices)
Financial target setting, reporting and monitoring
Team recruitment, management and motivation
Don’t be fooled – this is not a straight management position. While you will have a small team to begin with, you will have to get your hands dirty initially and build the pipeline in order to grow the business and your team. So if you are more comfortable directing that doing this role isn’t for you. However there is real career development potential into a broader General Manager position.
