Join a high performing and creative team that undertakes a broad range of marketing and sales initiatives to promote Queenstown as a preferred conference and incentive destination.
Based in Queenstown, this is a fun and varied fulltime position supporting the Convention Bureau team. Reporting the to the sales and marketing manager, this role is responsible for
Creating, compiling and distributing event leads
Updating and maintaining DQ’s CRM
Coordinating and hosting familiarisation and site inspection visits for corporates and professional conference organisers
Representing DQ at trade shows
Compiling and distributing the QCB newsletter
Maintaining and updating the QCB pages on the DQ website
Supporting QCB marketing activities
The successful candidate will be motivated, keen to learn and have a strong desire to progress their tourism industry career. Experience in the conference and incentive sector is advantageous but not essential.
