About the role.
As Team Leader Accounts Payable you will provide outstanding leadership of the Accounts Payable team and support to the Manager, Finance & Accounting Operations in order to deliver a consistently high standard of customer service and payables continuity.
You will monitor expense transactions regularly and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as the role ensures MBIE maintains a positive profile.
In addition you will need to be able to lead fast-paced change and display resilience in an evolving financial environment.

Skills and experience required:
Proven history of successful leadership skills
Previous experience in an accounts payable environment is essential
Experience in the government sector is desirable, though not essential
Experience with Technology 1 FMIS package is desirable, though not essential
A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable, though not essential
Must have legal right to live and work in NZ

This permanent role will reports to the Manager Finance & Accounting Operations in the Finance and Performance Group of MBIE.
