A little about who we are looking for…
A rare opportunity exists for a Group Account Director in our Wellington team. We are seeking a talented social or commercial researcher with a proven track record in quantitative research and at least 5 to 10 years’ experience in a similar role.
Essential to this role will be the following skills and attributes:
*Experience and knowledge of public sector and/or commercial client accounts and delivery
*Strong new business development skills
*Exceptional research design and quantitative data analysis skills
*The ability to prepare high quality research proposals, reports and presentations
*Persuasive communications skills (both orally and in writing)
*Strong conceptual thinking and strategic insights
*A high attention to detail
*An ability to multitask, work well under pressure and be flexible.
As a Group Account Director you will also have people management responsibility and aid in the mentoring and development of less experienced researchers.
This is a varied and exciting role that requires a multi-disciplined approach to all aspects of research from managing existing clients, pitching for new business, designing research methods, to reporting research findings to clients in a way that emphasises the implications of findings and provides strategic insight.
Your clients will likely be a mix of public and private sector clients, but will be tailored to suit your individual strengths and interests.
The remuneration package will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s knowledge, industry experience, and skills.
